BUBBLEWATCHER is a tracking software that works on any Android tablet or smartphone. In tandem with the BubbleWatcher eMarkers, it helps locate scuba divers and snorkelers with ease. The software communicates with it's eMarkers in real time, when they are above the surface of the water.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
eMARKER LIST
The eMarker List displays information to aid the crew in water sports supervision such as with scuba divers and snorkelers.

The eMarker List is organized by possible high priority situations. For example, an SOS pin pull and a geofence violation are both alerting to the base station—the SOS moves to the top and the geofence violation is second. The eMarker List displays the eMarkers by a number and/or name, by their distance and heading from the boat, and by last-known location. It also includes a space to add notes on each eMarker.
The eMarker List status window indicates whether a scuba diver eMarker has surfaced or is diving, in addition to highlighting priority situations.

The Contact tab allows the crew to turn the eMarker’s light on and off, and to place a recall to all divers that alerts them once the eMarkers are above the water surface. It allows them to set a dive-time limit, and it also displays each eMarker's battery life.
COMING SOON
Adding technology support to Diver Down Buoys, SMB (Surface Marker Buoy) and Lift Bags.
eMARKER MAP
The eMarker Map screen displays the BubbleWatcher icon location in relation to the boat for accurate distance and heading. This display works in both landscape and portrait modes. In landscape mode, the eMarker List and the Marker Map screen are both displayed. When turned to portrait mode, the Marker Map screen enlarges to full screen.
When an eMarker is in communication with the base station, radio waves symbols are present; when they are out of communication they disappear. Last-known locations can be revealed by tapping on the icon. The screen can zoom in and out, as well as set a geofence.

The following are examples of high priority situations that require the crew to take action to silence the alarm:
-
When an eMarker goes beyond the geofence, an audible alert is sent to the boat and the individual diver icon flashes on the BubbleWater tablet.
-
When an SOS pin is pulled, the diver icon flashes white, sounds an alert, and a breadcrumb trail is displayed to highlight the direction of its position.
-
When BubbleWatcher home base is in view of other boat's BubbleWatcher home bases, the crew can elect to see other trackers in the area or turn them off. However, an SOS will always show even if the “see other boats” feature is turned off.

IMPROVES WORK FLOW
04 /
Once an eMarker is added to a boat, it keeps a constant status check on the diver. The eMarker will lose signal once underwater, and the status can be changed to 'diving'. Once the eMaker surfaces, the status can be changed to 'surfaced' with an audible alert from the BubbleWatcher tablet. Once the eMarker changes to 'diving' status, a countdown will start. Once the dive is complete an audible alert and flashing LED light signal to the divers that they must surface.
DECREASES WORK LOAD
05 /
BubbleWatcher tracks a boat full of divers in real time, so less time is spent on looking for wrong way divers. The ability to mark everyone on board eliminates the need for multiple head counts, ensuring everyone is back on the boat. The crew can set a dive/snorkel time recall that helps the crew return to the dock on time.
PEACE OF MIND
FOR ALL INVOLVED
06 /
Once an eMarker is added to a boat, BubbleWatcher keeps a constant status check while eMarkers are on the surface. Once an eMarker surfaces from a dive, the status changes to ‘afloat’, and an audible alert is sent to alert the crew via the tablet.
QUICK AND EASY INSTALL & CHARGE
07 /
The eMarker is attached with a velcro strap. It must be placed high on the shoulder strap or on a low-pressure inflator hose. It can be mounted to a Surface Marker Buoy or Diver Down Buoy. The antennas must be above the surface of the water in order to be connected. The base station (with antennas) can be a hand held mount or hard wired.
08 /
SOFTWARE AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
As of now, BubbleWatcher supports Android only and it easily logs onto multiple devices at the same time. QR codes can be used to log new eMarkers in on dive boats. The system works without Internet or cell service.
09 /
REGULATORY
COMPLIANCE
Regulators around the world are adding new rules aimed at improving safety of water-based activities. Some of these increase costs for crews responsible for supervision. BubbleWatcher helps dive boat operators comply with rules and regulations without adding costly staff.
BENEFITS
PULL PIN SOS
FOR EMERGENCY
03 /
The eMakers are equipped with an SOS pull pin. The BubbleWatcher software alerts the crew of high priority situations audibly and visually. The eMarker emits a flashing LED white light and an audible alert to aid in pickup once the SOS has been triggered.
REAL TIME TRACKING AND SUPERVISION
01 /
BubbleWatcher aids in the supervision of scuba divers and snorkelers by having functions that lead the crew directly to the surfaced eMarker (even under the most adverse conditions) as long as the emarker is in range.
02 /
IMPROVES SITUATIONAL
AWARENESS
BubbleWatcher gives an accurate distance and bearing from the boat to all of the eMakers last-known locations. All information is displayed on both the eMarker List and the eMarker map screen.

OUR STORY
Denise Lawrence is a certified PADI dive instructor, and she has certified hundreds of divers and is a USCG 100-ton captain since 2005. She has worked on live-a-boards traveling around the Caribbean since 2003. She spent 16 of those years working as a captain and naturalist guide. When not traveling, she is teaching at her local dive shop. Her number one saying to all her guests when pulling away from the dock is "safety first". She believes this technology is life saving and long overdue.
Mike Murphy is a certified scuba diver since 1972. He has obtained many certifications over the years while diving in various remote locations. Mike’s own experience of being carried off by the currents prompted his quest to find a safer way to play on and in the water. His background in technology, along with advancements in the radio sphere, has led him to develop a product with life-saving potential.
Fifteen years ago, Mike met Denise on the Silver Bank. The Silver Bank is 80 miles north of Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Humpback whales come to the Silver Bank in early spring to give birth to their calves and to find mates. Denise is a seasoned practitioner on the Silver Bank, and has years of experience teaching scuba diving and supervision of scuba divers.

OUR VISION
Squall Track’s principal objective is scuba diver safety. The founders of Squall Track have been involved in the diving industry for decades, with Denise being a PADI instructor and USCG 100-ton boat captain and Mike being an avid diver traveling worldwide. Both of them have either witnessed or participated in rescues in numerous water crises. They believe that most of those accidents could have been avoided or resolved faster with newly available technology.
The Covid-19 pandemic led to a closing of international borders, significantly reducing Mike’s business activities. This created the perfect opportunity to pursue his longtime passion to develop dive safety technology. Denise, sharing this enthusiasm, saw the obvious benefits of this life-saving technology, and she is now the CEO of Squall Track LLC.
The most common way for a sport diver to reach a dive site is through a dive charter operator. Worldwide, there are thousands of scuba diving charters daily.
With Squall Track, each divers' experiences while on the boat and in the water will improve. Charter operators will benefit from safer, happier divers and they will save time ensuring compliance with regulations and standard industry best practices.
